Elizabeth Gillies is an American actor, singer and songwriter. She is most famous for her roles as Lucy in the musical 13 and Jade West in the Nickelodeon sictom Victorious. She began her career in commercials. Her first television appearance was on The Black Donnellys (2007). Between 2010 and 2013, she was Jade West in the Nickelodeon show Victorious. She was a lead character on FX's comedy Sex & Drugs & Rock & Roll. Elizabeth Egan Gillies is a New Jersey native, born on the 26th of July in 1993. Her family resides in Haworth. In her early years as a child actor, she was in a variety of films like Babel (2006) The Case of Benjamin Button 2008, and Phoebe in Wonderland 2008. It was the Critics Choice Movie Awards nominated her as the Best Young Actress in Sofia Coppola's Somewhere. She attracted recognition in 2011 as the lead actress in the science fiction action film Super 8 which earned her an Spotlight Award at the Hollywood thriller Festival. In addition to her role as the title role of We Bought a Zoo and Ginger & Rosa, she also played Princess Aurora as in Maleficent and Maleficent The Mistress of Evil.
